It is an ethnobotanical experience adapted to the preferences of the participants. It is done in small groups and the program is closed together.
In general, the wilderness experience includes:
- A 1h30 ethnobotanical outing to identify medicinal and edible plants through game dynamics.
- A cooking workshop adapted to the needs of the group (with the option of making specific capsules for the preparation of bitter plants, wild preserves or ferments, and a theoretical-practical capsule of medicinal preparations, such as a syrup, an oleomacerate, a poultice , etc.).
- A tasting of 3 dishes cooked in the open air or by the fire, all depending on the time of year.
* People who request it in advance can be picked up at Vilafranca del Penedès station. Price: €15.
Experience leader:
Berta is the creator, organizer and facilitator of this experience. She has a degree in social sciences and herbalism and has a lot of experience in the world of gastronomy with an ecological sensibility.
I live and play to exist more and more harmoniously with nature, more stripped of frivolities and more aware of everything I can do to minimize my environmental footprint. My task is to return to the roots to share everything I experience and learn and thus fly a little further.
Berta proposes this experience with the aim of making known the nutritional, medicinal and pleasurable uses that are hidden behind the so-called “weeds” while valuing and caring for what surrounds us from the gratitude of the vegetable kingdom.
